Heaterk provides double-sided coated fiberglass fabric, using E-Glass fiberglass cloth with black silicone rubber coating on one side and graphite coating on the other. The silicone coating can prevent the leakage of liquid and gas and has a weather resistance of more than ten years, while the graphite coating provides ultra-high temperature resistance. The long-term working temperature can be up to 700°C; thus, due to the performance limitations of silicone, Heaterk still recommends that the maximum operating temperature should not exceed 550°C when using this material.
Graphite Silicone Coated Fabric is specially designed for high-temperature steam turbines to protect against heat loss at high temperatures during turbine operation. Its easy processing feature enables it to be perfectly processed into any desired shape, such as generator heat shield lining, gas turbine heat shield lining, pipe heat shield lining, etc.
The most widely used application of silicone graphite-coated fabric is the heat shield lining of large gas turbines in power plants. Relying on its ultra-high temperature resistance and durability, it can be used for a long time without cracking or performance degradation.
